Michael Arie

Michael Arie Van Vliet is originally from Brighton but studied Visual Arts at Plymouth university. He is a qualified Design and Technology teacher with his specialist subject in graphics. Michael has a particular interest in contemporary abstract and street/graffiti art and the use of straight lines and geometric shapes. 

His work is inspired by the technical and graphical drawing techniques that he has taught and is also inspired by Abstract design movements such as Bauhaus and more contemporary artists such as Michael Craig Martin.
